In this deck, you'll practise combining the French you already know to present yourself in more detail. We'll cover how to talk about your studies, work, background, and recent activities to have a more natural conversation.
Lesson#2
To say what you are currently studying, you can use the verb 'étudier'. For example, 'J'étudie l'histoire' means 'I am studying history'.
Quiz#3
Translate into French: 'I am studying economics.'
J'étudie l'économie.
Lesson#4
To say how long you have been studying something, use the present tense with 'depuis', which means 'for' or 'since'. For example, 'J'étudie le français depuis deux ans'.

Translate into French: 'I have been studying medicine for three years.'
J'étudie la médecine depuis trois ans.
Lesson#6
To talk about studies you completed in the past, use the passé composé. For example, to say 'I studied literature at university', you would say 'J'ai étudié la littérature à l'université'.
