Lesson#1
Some common Italian verbs ending in 'IRE' have a special pattern in the present tense. For most forms, you add 'I S C' between the stem and the ending. This pattern applies to 'io', 'tu', 'lui' or 'lei', and 'loro', but not to 'noi' and 'voi'. Let's start with the verb 'capire', meaning 'to understand'.
Lesson#2
The verb 'capire' means 'to understand'. Following the pattern we just discussed, the forms are: io capisco, tu capisci, lui capisce, noi capiamo, voi capite, and loro capiscono. Notice how 'noi' and 'voi' do not have the 'I S C' part.
