Identity Data: Includes first name, last name, username, or screen name (such as details provided during Apple or Google Sign-In authentication).
Contact Data: Includes email address.
Audio & Voice Data: Includes audio streams or voice recordings captured via your device's microphone during hands-free study sessions. This data is securely processed to perform speech-to-text transcription (via our partners, such as Deepgram).
User Content: Includes custom study decks, lessons, and flashcards created by you; photos or files of notes/textbooks uploaded to generate cards using our AI tools; and general feedback, support descriptions, or screenshots uploaded by you.
Purchases & Subscriptions: Includes purchase history, plan tiers, and active subscription entitlements (processed natively through Apple's App Store and managed via RevenueCat; we never collect or store credit card numbers or billing details).
Usage Data: Includes study session stats (total seconds studied, correct/incorrect response counts, cards studied, review counters, and card suspension statuses) used to calculate your spaced repetition intervals.
Technical Data: Includes device installation identifiers, operating system version, connection status, login tokens, and IP address.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

Providing Core App Functionality: Processing your spoken responses, playing study audio, saving your custom decks, and scheduling card review queues using our spaced repetition algorithm.
Account & Subscription Management: Managing user login sessions, verifying purchase receipts, and enforcing monthly study limits.
Customer Support: Responding to user feedback, app issues, and bug reports.
Product Diagnostics & Optimization: Analyzing card quality statistics (e.g. card suspension counts) to improve the default study catalog.

4. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
