Next are inseparable verbs. These are verbs with prefixes like 'be-', 'er-', 'ver-', and 'ent-'. They are simpler: they do not take a 'ge-' in the past participle. For example, 'besuchen', meaning 'to visit', becomes 'besucht'. 'Ich habe meine Tante besucht' means 'I visited my aunt'.
